Rasa-lila, the circle-dance of Krishna and his beloved gopis on a full moon night, is one of the most popular themes in lila-kirtana, songs depicting Krishna's pastimes. This series of eleven songs was recorded at the Rasabari temple at Radha-kunda. Lead kirtaniya: Anath Bandhu Das Babaji.
Gostha-lila, or Krishna's leaving for the pastures with the cows and the calves, is a popular, recurring theme in lila-kirtanas, or songs describing his pastimes.
This session, led by Anath Bandhu Das Babaji, was recorded on Gopastami at Radha-kunda.
Several times a year, on blessed days such as Maghi-purnima, the full-moon day of the month of Magh, devotees from Radha-kunda gather and circumambulate the Govardhan-mountain with a procession to the accompaniment of kirtan. A part of the yearly tradition is a stop at Govinda-kunda, where the kirtaniyas sing the touching story of Madhavendra Puri's discovering the deity of Gopala from Chaitanya Caritamrita.

Kartta Sri Krishna Das Babaji was a great leader among the Gaudiya Vaishnavas of Vraja in his era. With his great austerity, the ascetics of Radha-kunda were given the right to bathe in the sacred pond again. Towards the end of his life, Kartta Baba, then a renowned siddha-mahatma, settled at Nuton Ghera, Radha-kunda, where his memorial festival is annually celebrated.

The festival of Siddha Madhusudana Das Babaji of Surya-kunda is one of the best attended and most beautiful festivals among the annual celebrations in Vraja. This recording features the memorial festival of Sri Kunjabihari Das Babaji Maharaja of Radha-kunda in its entirety, featuring a series of songs sung at the morning of the occasion, including a song narrating the life-story of the saint that concludes the event.

Adhivasa-kirtanas mark the opening of a festival, occuring anywhere from a few days up to a month before the actual event. As festivals come in two flavors, the ananda-utsavas or festivals of joy, and the viraha-utsavas or festivals of separation, so there are distinct songs.
In the tradition at Radha-kunda, all adhivasas begin with the Jayare Jayare Gaura song. Festivals of joy conclude with Age Rambha Aropana, and festivals of separation with Eka Adhivasa Ani. The adhivasa-songs describe the assembling of Sri Chaitanya, Nityananda and Advaita along with their companions for a celebration featuring the maha-yajna, or the great sacrifice, of sankirtan - congregational chanting of Krishna's names.
These two series of recordings, recorded at Rasa-bari on the occasion of Tinkadi Goswami's centennial celebration, feature songs describing Krishna's captivating beauty in the words of Radha and her dear sakhis. The first evening's songs are led by Sanatana Das Babaji, the second series is led by Lalita Das Babaji.
